Raised in Zarautz, Spain, Ruben Vitoria was drawn to surfing at the age of eight, and by eleven, he was competing across the country. Now, he is an international pro surfer and winner of the World Surf League's 2021 Caparica Surf Fest.

In 2025, he’s set his sights on the upcoming WSL Challenger Series while pursuing a psychology degree. Irresistibly cheerful and passionate about his craft, Ruben equally enjoys big-wave riding, competitions, and mellow mornings at his local break.
