Known for his creative style, snappy aerial manoeuvres, and adaptability to changing conditions, Joel has already built an impressive competitive record. His achievements include victories at the Care Great Lakes Pro 2022 and the Burton Automotive Pro in both 2023 and 2024, along with a third-place finish at the EDP Ericeira Pro and Corona Saquarema Pro 2024. Now, as he makes his debut on the WSL Championship Tour, 2025 promises to be the year Joel cements his place on the world surf stage.
