Born and raised in Maui, Hawaii, just a few miles from the notorious big wave Pe'ahi (Jaws), Jesse Richman got into kitesurfing at the age of nine. Powered by an unbeatable dedication and perseverance, he worked his way up the ranks developing an unmistakable style that brought him two-times KPWT World Champion title. Jesse continues to push the limits of kiting, becoming the first kiter who gets barreled at the gnarly Jaws. Later he sets the world record with a 790-foot tow-up.
